In Town Mid Coast Maine was settled early in America's history and boasts towns, architecture and institutions dating back to the 1700's. Because we value our way of life, many of our Main Streets were saved from the forces of urban renewal and instead evolved gently over the years.

Today boutiquesbookstoresgalleries, and restaurants rub shoulders with the hardware store and the pharmacy. Waterfront parks host seasonal fairs and festivals, creating an opportunity for people to get together.
