Reid State Park
Georgetown
Long, wide sand beaches are rare in Maine, and Reid State Park is one of the finest. From the top of Griffith Head that overlooks the park, you can spot lighthouses on Seguin Island, The Cuckholds, and Hendricks Head. The beaches include protected nesting areas for terns, piping plovers and other birds. And a rare sight on any Maine beach are the large sand dunes.
