This is a spectacular trail network that leads to open rocky summits with panoramic views of the ocean and neighboring hills. Mt. Battie, with its stone viewing tower is a popular spot. Visitors can also drive up a road to the peak. If you have time, head to Maiden Cliff that overlooks beautiful Megunticook Lake. The wheelchair-accessible shoreline trail starts by the parking lot.
