Franklin Island Light
Franklin Island National Wildlife Refuge, Friendship
One of Maine’s earliest lighthouses, Franklin Island Light is located in the center of St. George’s River Bay. It’s one of the most dangerous navigation areas due to many hidden ledges throughout the area.
