Owl’s Head State Park
Owl’s Head, Lighthouse Rd. / Route 73
Though it’s the smallest state parks in Maine, it has some of the best ocean views in the state. The park’s predominant feature is the thirty-foot, brick Owls Head Lighthouse perched on a seventy foot high cliff at the entrance to Rockland Harbor. The nearby, small rocky beach is a perfect picnic spot.
