The Horizons Center is a fully accessible venue available to rent for special events. It is also the Brunswick home of the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center and Aphasia Center of Maine, where we host and facilitate a diverse menu of inclusive progamming for people of all abilities. Located on Route One, just minutes from both Downtown Freeport and Brunswick’s historic Maine Street, the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center’s fully accessible Horizons Center is within striking distance of greater Portland, Augusta, Lewiston/Auburn, and mid-coast Maine.
Anchored by a 125-person capacity event center featuring a large stage, projector, screen, stage lighting, and sound system, our Brunswick venue also includes a patio with gas fire pit, an amphitheater beside our pond, a bright and airy meeting room, and full commercial kitchen.
