Indian Island Lighthouse
Indian Island

This light, which sits at the entrance to Rockport Harbor, is a square brick tower attached to a T-shaped keeper's house. It was built in 1850, discontinued in 1934, and replaced by an automated beacon on nearby Lowell Rock. The lighthouse now is privately owned and not open to the public, but you can see it from the Betselma, which motors out from Camden with Camden Harbor Cruises.
