The Doubling Point Lighthouse is outside of town, through the woods, and down a well-maintained dirt road. A little off the beaten path, but well worth the journey! It is such a quiet and peaceful place to experience Maine’s countryside on the coast while enjoying nature. It’s breathtaking during fall when the trees are bright yellow, orange, and red.

Take a walk on the sidewalks or a drive down the streets and explore the architecture and beauty of the Historic District. There are 34 historic markers that tell the story of this amazing town.
